Brad did chose for his exhibition in our gallery the title “Brad’s Works“. We was proud to present his stunning photographs of our historic Port Adelaide which was complimented by photographs of Semaphore, Adelaide and a very impressive photograph of historic Glenelg with an overlay of the Glenelg nowadays. It was very interesting seeing the changes over 100 years.

ASSP Youth Awards 2015

Award Presentation by HON Dr Susan Close MP

ASSP invites annually local schools to participate with their students from ELC up to Year 3 in a painting competition related to Port Adelaide. 199 entries were judged by three independent judges.  It’s stunning how much very talented children we have in our Port Adelaide area. The 2015 winner of the “Pirates at The Port” competition was the Portside Christian College
Minister Close awarded the young students in the categories Reception, Year 1 to Year 3 with trophies, certificates, and gifts which were donated by our local businesses.
The main prize for the college (a free recording of the school choir) was sponsored by Max Miller, owner of Soundmiller Studios                                      (previous Electric Railway Studio short ElRail Studio at Huntfield Heights.
Merit Awards did go to the Art Teachers.
